Operation Freedom
About 25% of the world's total prison population is in the United States, which holds about 1.8 million prisoners as of 2021
(1.38 million in federal and state prisons, 745,200 in jails). These incarcerated individuals represent are our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, family, and friends.
These individuals were once students in the community, our community.
We can't pretend that there isn't a serious problem that exists in our country.
I'm just one of many who have decided to speak up.
A part of my story is being incarcerated at the age of 21 and serving 5 years in prison. I personally know that people can change because I did and now, I am instrumental in helping people transform their lives. I currently serve as a Mentor with Madison County Drug Court, volunteer speaker at Limestone County Jail, and counsel at a men’s recovery center. This is how I serve but I need your help.
It’s easier to take preventive measures than to make corrections after the negative consequences, nevertheless, freedom is more than avoiding trouble; freedom is living a life of purpose. Let me set the record straight, legal troubles don’t have to rob you or your loved ones of a life of purpose, I am living proof. Consider helping The Fight Club today…
